Torchbearers Conference Tour

This last summer, for the first time ever, Torchbearers traveled around North America hosting a Conference Tour.

We wanted to connect with alumni or those familiar with or impacted by the ministry and offer a weekend of teaching as well as updates on what going on at different centres around the world.

We got to help put on each conference, and travel from place to place, staying with alumni and friends of the ministry.

We started in Denver, then went to Milwaukee, WI, to Abbotsford, BC Canada, to Portland, OR, and finally our last conference was in Calgary, Alberta Canada.

We even were able to stay at one of the centres (Capernwray Harbor) during our two months of traveling.

Capernwray Harbor is located in Canada on a small island west of Vancouver

God provided places for us to stay all over North America, it was amazing to see how many connections we have in the ‘Torchbearer family’ and how well cared for we were.

We tried to take a picture at each border crossing— (missed Washington and Alberta)

Chris and I were really blessed to have our friends Joseph and Mindy join us for the tour (all four of us were at Capernwray New Zealand together in 2007).

Our boss, Dave Firth, oversaw and emceed the conferences, and we had directors fly in from around the world to share from God’s Word about the life and call of Timothy.
